Last week on thursday we all went to Amsterdam, to the Amercan Consulate. We went to get Tobias a Certificate of Birth Abroad, but we ended up applying for a passport as well. So, we had to have passport pictures taken. This is the result. For his passport they only used the area around his head, so the proportions look like a normal passport picture. He should be receiving his passport in a few weeks....

Here he is in the pool! Nice trunks huh? Tobias loved being in the pool. We were in there for quite a while and he enjoyed every minute of it. Of course this was a little hot tub, because the pool water was a bit too chilly for his linking. Oh yeah, you can probably tell that I am enjoying it as well :-)

This past weekend we went on a trip to Texel with my parents. The weather in the Netherlands can get quite cold, so Tobias had to wear his snowsuit for a walk outside. The next day however, we went to an indoor pool and Tobias got to wear his swimming trunks! What a difference huh?

I guess you can never start too early... As you can see Tobias already enjoys a good book.

Tobias got his first shot this past tuesday. He did cry a little bit, but he did not faint (like his father would...). This shot is called DKTP and HIB in dutch. He was also weighed at 4200 grammes (which is on the low end) and measured at 56,5 cm.

It snowed this past week in the Netherlands. Yesterday Tobias and I went out to take a walk in the snow, and guess what, the neighbors made snow(wo)men. I think Tobias liked it. As you can see he is wearing his snowsuit while I carry him in our "Baby-Bjorn".

Last weekend (27/02) when Tobias was talking to Grandma and Grandpa Mayhall on the webcam he first started showing of his "grabbing skills". Here he is doing it again and he urged me to put this picture online for everyone to see...

Tobias visited Annalief again this week. I think their relationship is taking off a bit too fast... Ok, granted this is only their playpen..... Anyway, as you can see they seem to be ignoring each other... I just don't know what to make of it :-).
